How the study modes work
Daily review shows the word and its part of speech. Recall the meaning, flip the card, then grade yourself: Again (it comes back in this session), Hard, Good or Easy. Each grade sets when the word returns: Hard in about a day, Good in 5 days or more, Easy in 20 days or more, and the gaps grow each time you remember it. You spend your time on the words you don't know yet.
Sort pass is the fastest start: mark each word I know it, Not sure or Don't know. Known words return in a few days for a check.
Quiz asks SAT-style words-in-context questions. Missed words go straight into your review.
